Birds up there fly high in the sky,and I lay down here wondering why,
why they get so much luck to be free,
cause if i could fly, you would be with me
the open air would be my highway,
but faith doesn't want it, so here I stay
I'm trapped to say the least, cause my love is long out of reach
time is wasted thinking of the past
because my old memories will never last
but after a while, I will be free, free to stop dreaming, and love something I can see.
