The air chill, cold to the living but to the dead. It went unnoticed, time passing in a measured state felt by none.
The guide would appear. Book in hand, the emblem held forth. It would uncurl a ghastly finger out towards the soul.
Twas time, his verdict announced as it opened to a page. Glancing with deathly hollow eyes to the pages. It thus held forth the emblem, aglow as it were. Once the passing of the spirit was complete, would the geist fade to move forth to judge the next soul that laid...
