This is hilarious that t Marisol pulled Mericela to watch a soap opera XD and then she gets addicted
lol I feel like Maricela when I watch foreign soap operas. I just recently finished one called magnificent century kosem.
I was screaming at the TV and getting mad xD I never felt like that in any other shows. It had a lot of twists, slapping & dramatic running lmao

Wow, 10 years ago! Hm, I definitely
wouldn't know it, since I didn't start
watching Spanish soap operas (soap operas in general)
until after high school. I think I was a freshman in high school at that time?
That's when I was taking Spanish class for the first time. XD
Dang! The Turkish really like their soap operas! I was born there,
but I remember nothing about it; I don't know if my parents watched
any Turkish soap operas.

I was in a spanish class in College but I had a C+ cause I was lazy. In my edgy time Im like why should I learn another language if I already know two lmaoo 🤣
I still need to know how you got to Turkey xD Also can you understand Turkish?

SolaSista In reply to HornedKingVeles [2019-07-16 20:38:03 +0000 UTC]
That's funny, because I ended up with a C+ in
Spanish back in high school because I had missing work. XD
So, Russian is your other language, then?
Haha, nah, I don't understand Turkish.
My dad was in the military at the time, and when you're in the
military, you get government orders to move you and your family
to one of the American military bases either around the country
or the world for a period of time. Turkey has an American military base there, and that's
where my family was ordered to go. During their three-year stay, I was born. ^^

lmao thats hilarious so you know the struggle! the professor was a spanish nun and she knew I was goofing off XD she made me retake the spanish test lol. She prob knew someone was doing my homework
I actually know more Ukrainian and Russian language mixed. I really cant tell the difference between these two. Plus not having real life Russian/Ukrainian friends dont help and even relatives now speaking english .So I slowly will prob forget the languages in the matter of time since I speak and write English 90% of the time . Maybe I can get one of those learn yourself language and prob can remember after a month of looking at it. Its a really easy languages in my opinion. Plus spanish has a lot of similar words so thats how I can remember some in class. Also a good fact is that Spanish speakers can say Russian words on point! Its because Russian and Spanish speakers roll their R's a certain way.
Dang thats really interesting! It must be really cool to travel! I know I would enjoy it if I were in your position. You ever considering going back there just to see the view of Turkey? I know it was just because your family was stationed but still I would be curious to see where I was born

Aw, lucky! I've never seen a nun in my entire life! XD
Is there a complete difference between Russian and Ukrainian?
By that, I mean that has part of the Russian language integrated into the Ukrainian language,
since Russia tried to take over Ukraine at times? If so, do you think maybe that
could be a reason you can't tell the difference, since both languages are somewhat similar?
Oh, yeah! Definitely try one of those out! I only know about Rosetta Stone, but I don't
know if people use that to help them speak another language anymore. XD
Ah, I never knew Russians rolled their R's! Then again, when they say "comrade,"
I can hear a slight trill on the "R".
It was pretty cool, though, I only remember Okinawa, Japan, since
I was old enough to remember it, and it was the only other overseas
place I've ever been besides Turkey. Hm, have I thought about visiting Turkey?
I haven't really considered it, but I do agree with you that it would be nice to visit
the place that you were born in. I've heard nice things about it from my parents, though,
so I might go back someday.

Ukraine and russia have only spilt in ww1. They were Kiev Russ, (Russia) and Poland so many times I lost count 😂 So Ukraine officially excisted in WW1. I consider Russia, Poland and Ukraine as the same people. They just splitting and going back to each other like an ex.
Oh some of the words are similar like torta means cake on both languages and noche means night on both
Did you like Japan? I personally would go to historic 👻 spooky place over cities if I ever visit there
Omg yes Turkey have those cool underground cities maybe you will find giants 😆

Yeah, I hear Russia keeps trying to
take over other countries like Ukraine
and Crimea. Russia sounds more like
the clingy ex who can't stay away. XD
Ah, that's interesting! Speaking of which,
the Spanish word for bread, "pan" is
also a Japanese word for the same meaning.
Yeah, I did like Japan! The thing is, though, we weren't
on mainland Japan; Okinawa is an island off the southern coast
of the mainland in an island chain called "Ryukyu Islands."
It's cool, because Okinawa was an important location in WW2. ^^
If I end up going to Turkey, I'd like to find Noah's ark, because
his ark landed on one of the mountains there. My dad says there
are people guarding the mountain to where Noah's ark supposedly
landed. I don't know why it's guarded, though. :/

Lmao they are the same country for 100s of years. The plot twist is that Poland was the ex that keep invading it and making the people in that area slaves and shove Catholicism in their faces. Since at that time they were heavy pagan.
Russ was part of a "united kingdom" cause they have been invaded by the Turks ,Mongols, Arabs etc
They were stealing women and making them their wives (that why some parts of Kazakhstan , Uzbekistan and some parts of Ukraine and Russia has people that you can tell are heavy mixed, some parts of rural areas they keep the tradition of stealing wives) . They decide its better to unite together from that happening again. Russ was a huge empire but i guess its gets credited by russia cause of the name 😆 Russ actually means Viking & before Russ was Scythians like holy crap they keep changing their names and kingdoms every 100 years you loose count.
During ww2 West Ukraine and the east are split with each other cause the west part (was Poland in ww1) have been taken over by corrupted antifa mafia government. They have been killing anyone that are Polish and Russian and ironically into white supremacy.( they can tell from each other by last names) They are still at war today and Im against killing their own people. They can be their own country but they need to handle their corrupted government first.
East part is more toward "Russian Decent" and dont want to fight with neither side. The government Putin is shit and trying to keep resources for themselves and taking advantage on the citizens since they are desperate to end war. So both sides of Ukraine and Russia are scumbags and dont care about their citizens but care about power. I'm more leaning to east cause I hate war in general and my grandparents are all Polish, Russian and Ukrainian roots and there is no such thing as a "pure" Ukrainian as they claim.
Lots of my relatives are those West supremacist and ignore their roots, it kinda gave me an idea of Chernobog cause of that xD
Lmao I head about noahs ark being some what in Turkey. Lots of artifacts are guarded cause they want people think evolution is real.
Whats your religious beliefs?

A mi no me molestan las novelas, y aún así me encanta el trope del personaje que no le gustan los dramas siendo forzado a ver una y se afecta demasiado por el drama XDDD
