Description I Heard The Barks On Christmas Eve

Writer: Chelsea Meyer

Date: November 24, 2012

Synopsis: β€œThe Pound Puppies have to place thousands of puppies that are overflowing from shelters all over town.”

In production order, this is the season 2 finale, and it's pretty good. It's Christmas Eve, and the Pound Puppies are getting ready to celebrate. Unfortunately, they have to place thousands of puppies that are overflowing from shelters all over town so that everyone can have a good Christmas. The conflict of the episode is actually pretty good. It essentially deals with the concept of believing in miracles, which fits the characters and their dilemma. This is also a musical episode, and in true fashion, Daniel Ingram and Steffan Andrews deliver with the goods. We also see a more human side to McLeish, but you'll have to see for yourself. The humor and suspense manage to keep you on your toes. It also has a good moral on keeping faith. I think it's a pretty good episode.

Here is the cast for the episode.

Rene Auberjonois as McLeish

Yvette Nicole Brown as Cookie / Sparky

The most underrated show that was on Discovery Family while it was still known as the Hub. And its Christmas episode was one of its better episodes, too.

If it had better scheduling and better toy sales, it could've gotten a fourth season. At least the show was consistently good.
