Didn't expect to find this here. I like all the little details put into it, like the flag at the back and the broken floodlight, gives it that extra jury-rigged feel that most of Nod's low-tier units should have.

The only one I ever really liked was 'Generals', completely different feel to it then any other one. When I finally get my new computer I might just get back into modding it. That was the best part.

I loved Generals! The GLA was my main team. One thing that RTS had that NO others do was the best Guard system, rather then click units and hit G to guard their current area, you'd get a giant circle you could place anywhere. The resulted in allowing you to have units go across the map and guard without micromanaging, and the planes could also guard and would refuel and go back to their posts, making them more useful

Air power guard bubbles were one of my favorite tools because I am turtle player and I HATE ARTILLERY! It messes with my perfect defensive wall.

....holy smokes....this takes me back in such a radical way....was a huge Westwood studios kid back in the 90's....Red Alert 2 (and Yuri's Revenge) in particular had its hooks in me DEEP.....whole weekends spent rockin' my way through the games over and over again till my eyes bled.....Starcraft was the only other PC game at the time that held my attention at that level....*sigh*....the sweet glory days....X3

I played a lot of RA2, but nothing will compare to the years I put into RA1... Command and Conquer got my attention, but red alert, holy crap, i was ADDICTED (and a poor kid, so I had to make the most of my few games). RA2 would have probably been more addicting to me if it came out when I was as young with all the time in the world
