"The city's a big mighty place, y'all!"

Since Komasan is now accustomed to the city, I thought he'd show Offmon all the sights of Springdale has to offer! I wanted to go for fish-eye perspective, this time inspired by Japanese Toontown Online art, to further emphasize how larger than life the city can be.

I originally opted for a generic representation of Shibuya but I went with Downtown Springdale instead, due to such landmarks being more prominent and the fact it'd work better as a crossover drawing. I didn't want to make the location layout 1:1, unlike what the Yo-kai Watch anime does in most episodes, so I opted for liberties to give it more of that feel I intended for, such as limiting the amount of detail and overall balance as a whole.

Surprisingly, it wasn't easy finding references for Downtown Springdale and Excellent Tower, even when typing the names of the locations in Japanese. In the end I just took the artwork of the former and picked the colours from WibWob while I had to rewatch the episode just to get screencaps of the full tower itself. It still turned out great in the end.
