Yeah. Looks like it actually does fit in the evolution line.

PokaX [2011-06-07 15:23:39 +0000 UTC]
Now why couldn't this have been Dragonair's evolution?
I mean.. you had dratini, who was cool. then you evolved it into the just-plain-awesome Dragonair (note that both are serpentine and some shade of BLUE) then evolve dragonair and you get Dragonite. Strong? yes. but you had two awesome pokemon and then got that orange lard who sprouted antennas and moved the horn so that it was useless and in general made dragonite a complete fail pokemon.
In comparison - dragonzard is everything dragonite is not. Awesome (and it keeps with the blue theme), lean (I'm sorry, dragonite looks like it put on so much weight it could roll down a hill faster than it could fly - and how is it supposed to fly with those tiny wings anyway?) powerful, as all dragon types are (though some more than others) and... well you get the point.

Yeah... this would have made such a better evolution...
emagine blue and cute, blue and sleek... then suddenly orange lard? Heck I never evolved my dragonair because of that!!!.
So yes, the Fighting-dragon pokemon.. with weird perks too. and hell lot harder to evolve... though I'd guess you'd much rather get it than dragonite.

He he... I like the art. I don't know if you intended for the skin to be skin or scales, but its fine either way. Great science description of them.

Hmm, the shading does seem a lot more well defined, as far as emphasizing musculature and other low lights in the body.
Almost reminds me of a black wash on a miniature...

Oh, those. They're always attached to a trainer of sorts.
Jor'rah and Isha'ra are currently attached to the council. ( Ellie plays as a trainer of sorts. )
