I wanted to paint something a bit more challenging. God I love spacescapes but they're so tricky to get right.Hope you enjoy it!

Ohhh, long time no see! Hehe thank you! Trying to get the water part to look good was the most challenging part, since I wanted it to look slightly different from the background.
But yeah, got my mind blown with how perspective works and stuff -w-

Although I think the water does look really super similar to the background, I'd have to say with the ripples and reflection it works. In a way, it feels like the water and the sky morphs into one whole galaxy.
Perspective really blows the mind.

More seriously though, I was having a terrible day and, to be honest, this has really actually made me smile for the first time in hours. It's truly wonderful to see a picture like this, where the characters are stepping away from the audience rather than towards them, and they aren't even looking at us. They don't care that we exist. They're just alive, really and truly alive because they aren't worried about blocking and spacing and whatever else artists are concerned with. This is a true window into a beautiful world, and I needed to see that sort of beauty without the filter of typical artwork.
