GENERAL TOS
- Funeralmakers are a closed species. You may not make your own Funeralmaker without a mod-approved MYO slot.
- If you have purchased an adopt or custom, do not claim the design as your own.
- No nsfw content may be submitted to the group.
- You may not, at any time, make a Funeralmaker that is or appears to be under 18. Doing so will earn you a ban, at the discretion of the species owner.
- Be respectful of both mods and other users. This should go without saying.
- Funeralmakers may not be used commercially. You may not use the species itself, adopts, or MYO Funeralmakers in any works for profit, including but not limited to games, books, or comics.
- Rules are subject to change. A notice will be posted in a dA status to make the updates public knowledge.
SALES, RESALES, AND TRADES
About Adopts
- All sales are final.
- Pre-claiming adopts is not allowed. A batch has to be officially uploaded before any purchases or holds can be made.
- Do not ask for a hold if you have no intention of purchasing, or are unsure if you'll be able to pay within the allotted time. Serious holds only.
- In the event of a buyer pressing for a chargeback, the buyer will lose all rights to the character's design, use and image. The buyer will be added to a public blacklist and be unable to purchase or own Funeralmakers and their related species in the future.
- You may purchase one adopt per batch within the first 24 hours of it being posted. If any adopts remain available from the batch after the first 24 hours, you may purchase as many as you desire.
- You can purchase an adopt as a gift for a friend, but it will count toward your one adopt per batch for the first 24 hours.
- It is at the discretion of the adopt batch artist you are purchasing from if you are to pay in USD, points, or a mixture of the two.
- Individual guest artists may have their own additional rules to follow when purchasing, please be mindful of them.
- Adopts may be slightly redesigned. Please see the Redesigns + Species Removal section below for more information.
- Purchased adopts may be resold, traded, or gifted.
- You may not resell an adopt for more than it was purchased for.
- Once an adopt has been traded, it can only be traded for in the future. If art is purchased for the adopt then it may be sold for the price of the new art alone.
- All Funeralmakers will be added to the Masterlist so they can be kept track of. Should you resell, trade, or gift your Funeralmaker please make sure to dm the group, the owner or a mod team member to tell us who the new owner is.
- If you are looking to purchasing or trade a Funeralmaker from someone else, always make sure to check the Masterlist first to avoid accidentally obtaining a fake or stolen adopt, or overpaying. We are not responsible and cannot reimburse you, should you fall victim to a scam.
General MYO Slot Information
- Slots do not expire.
- You may have someone else draw your MYO for you, but they must follow the species rules and trait guide.
- MYOs may not be based off of any licensed character. Any MYO submissions bearing a striking resemblance to a licensed character will instantly be denied. This includes 'cosplaying' characters.
- After obtaining a slot, you will be given a 'proof' through a mod comment. Please screenshot this comment and save it in a secure place.
- You will need to submit your finished design to an admin before officially uploading it elsewhere. To have your design approved you may note it to the group or post it and the required form in the discord server.
- After your design has been approved, please submit it to the Masterlist with the correct listing of traits.
- If your slot is grandfathered, (AKA obtained before 2020) you may only use traits from the grandfathered trait sheet . For more information, please see the About Grandfathered Slots + Adopts section below.
- Your MYO slot / design will be added to our masterlist to better keep track of it. Should you resell, trade, or gift it, please make sure to dm the group, the owner, or a mod team member to tell us who the new owner is.
About (Paid) MYO Slots- Paid MYO slots are those of which that have been purchased using USD or points. For MYO slots purchased with species currency, please see the Currency Shop Rules section below.
- All sales are final.
- If you press a chargeback, you will lose the rights to the MYO you tried to purchase and will be put on the species blacklist.
- Paid MYO slots can be resold, traded, or gifted.
- Slots cannot be resold for more than the original purchase price. If a slot was purchased during a discount sale you may not resell it for full price.
About (Free) MYO Slots- Free MYO Slots are those of which that have been received through a free MYO event, received as a gift, won in a raffle or as an event prize.
- Unused Free MYO Slots cannot be sold or traded, they can only be gifted.
- Designs that have been finished and approved using your Free MYO Slot can be traded or gifted. They cannot be sold.
- If you attempt to sell or trade a Free MYO Slot it will be considered scamming and you will not be allowed to enter future events.
ABOUT GRANDFATHERED SLOTS + ADOPTS
The Grandfathered Trait Sheets- In the past, we've used this sheet to show off Funeralmaker traits and rarities, but things have changed quite a bit since then. We no longer use this sheet, and as such, it's become 'grandfathered'.
- Some traits have moved around and changed their rarities, and there are a few new ones! Because of this, we ask that you do not use this sheet when designing new MYOs.
Grandfathered MYO Slots- The only exception to the rule above is if you have an unused MYO slot from BEFORE Nov 2020. We know there are still a lot of old, unused MYO slots in circulation from before the species revamp, and we will not be revoking them.
- If you'd still like to fill a grandfathered slot, you can! Simply create your design referencing this sheet , keeping in mind the rarity of your slot.
- A grandfathered slot cannot use traits from the new traits sheet.
- This does not change the value of older MYO slots. You may not resell older MYO slots for more than was originally paid simply for being grandfathered.
Grandfathered Adopts- Every adopt created before Nov 2020 is now considered a grandfathered adopt.
- What does this mean for any adopts you've purchased before Nov 2020? Well, not much, really! We are not reclassifying their traits, and they will remain the same rarity they were when you purchased them. They will be marked as having grandfathered traits in the Masterlist, and that's about it.
- This does not change the value of older adopts. You may not resell older adopts for more than was originally paid simply for being grandfathered.
REDESIGNS + SPECIES REMOVAL
Redesigns- Physical, non-trait edits may be made at any time without the need for approval. These include changes to gender / presentation, addition or removal of tattoos / piercings / freckles / etc, and change in hairstyle / length. Please send in your updated reference to the group, the owner, or a member of the mod team.
- A Funeralmaker must remain recognizable as the same character even after a redesign.
- A Funeralmaker's traits may be changed for a trait within the same rarity or lower at any time. The change in trait must be sent in for approval.
- All edits must be submitted to an admin for approval. Redesigns may not be posted until after they have been approved.
Species Removal- If you would like to remove your Funeralmaker from the species you will be required to remove all traits that make them recognizable as a part of the species.
- If using toyhouse or planning to resell, trade or gift a character that was formerly a Funeralmaker, all art depicting them as a Funeralmaker must be removed from their gallery. This is required to avoid the resale of the Funeralmaker design as a new, separate character.
- If you decide to resell a character that was formerly a Funeralmaker in the future, you may not include the old design or art depicting them as a Funeralmaker to avoid scamming other users.
CS CURRENCY RULES
Currency Rules- Currency rates are 100 = 1 USD = 100pts
- Currency can be earned by participating in the CS group's events, prompts or by drawing art of a Funeralmaker.
- We have a currency tracker template here .
- Your currency trackers should be public so an admin can check in on their accuracy when purchasing.
- Members are allowed to transfer currency among themselves for services such as commissions or YCHs relating to Funeralmakers only.
- You may not exchange currency for real money.
- You may not exchange currency for non-Funeralmaker adoptables, art, customs, etc.
- Currency tracking will be an honor based system for the time being, but if you are found to be abusing the system you will be added to a Currency Shop blacklist and be unable to participate in any activities involving currency in the future.
Currency Shop Rules- Any purchase from the shop will need to be approved by an admin. The admin will provide you with a proof of purchase through comment. Please screenshot for proof of purchase for later use.
- Remember to deduct any currency spent from your tracker when making a purchase.
- Traits purchased can be added to preexisting Funeralmakers or to unused MYOs.
- When submitting a redesigned Funeralmaker with a purchased trait or a MYO with a purchased trait, please also send all proofs of purchase along with the new design.
- Unused purchased traits can be traded, gifted, or resold to other members for currency. You may not resell unused traits for RLC or points, or for more than you spent.
- Unused traits obtained as a prize, gift, or by any other free method can only be gifted or traded.
- Both unused and designed MYOs purchased with currency can be traded, gifted, or resold to other members for currency. You may not resell MYOs purchased with currency for RLC or points.
