Description This is a concept that I had since I've been trying to tackle this klonoa cartoon project, only to realize just how little I know how to do crap and I keep learning everything I need to know a little bit later than I'd like.

Anyway, as the fans may know, Klonoa's species was never specified. Even the Klonoa Works team had to be forced to call him a floppy-eared cat. I thought in my rendition of the character, Klonoa could behave somewhat more like a feline than he did in the series. For instance, he could ready himself for pounces like in this pose.

Well, what do you think? Good idea or bad idea?

I think that's a great idea, and your style really allows for the flexibility. While it doesn't have to look "natural"--he's not going to be walking around on all fours on a regular basis--I think it would be interesting to have him crouch, pounce, and even sit sometimes like a regular cat or dog would. His anatomy and big hands and feet make it look less awkward than if, say, some Sonic character was trying to go down on all fours.

I think this is a good idea because it'll make the animation more interesting and entertaining. He could having a running start on all fours before going up to his two legs to gain speed or resort to all fours when making a sharp turn... there are a lot of interesting possibilities when he's able to get to the ground so easily, and I definitely think you should stick with it.
