Description This is another work I did about half way through the semester in my advanced life drawing class.
This sheet of paper is 3x5ft.
I used conte for the entire thing. ( brown, light yellow, red, and black )
This depicts fallen angels unable to protect the classical era from evil.
I wanted the have the hands tearing open the horizon line open and have a true darkness unveiled behind the tear... which is why there is really only black in a few places on this drawing.

(yes the building is the parthenon... from memory)

oh yeah this drawing was our "group figure"

Nice work here. It really has a mysterious ambiance to it, which makes it very artistic. Also the use of only a few colors makes this work special. Original concept and great drawing.
