So this is the oldest rendering of my OC Humad (pronounced ooo-mad). He was the very first character I ever created and is very dear to me. I found this as I was cleaning out some old books to give to the vets...I'm so glad I kept this picture, as I think it will be a helpful reminder of his past when I start the bios of my characters ( I hope you're reading this Miguel, I'll be seeking guidance from you on the subject) He's gone through some changes over the years and his evolution has produced the sexy S.O.B. that you see today. I think I was 14 when I drew this...anyhow, I hope you find this as cute as I do.Related content

Humad is very special to me. I've given a lot of thought to his background some things have changed over the years, but he's still the same ol' Humad. Thanks so much for all the kind things you say. I think he will be next in the series.😆

Hehe thanks xD. Of my characters, he's the one with super strength so a solid body at that age makes more sense maybe...I have no idea what I'm doing! Hahaha!

The reason why it catches my eye to look closer and comment it was, cause it was a traditional art, not a digital one.
I see hundreds of digital arts here, and the truth is... I'm jealous... Cause I'm not able to do that, I draw traditional...
But yours is really high quality and when I read that its a really old one, you impress me.
Drawing is "just" my second hobby, normally I write but I think this is more skilled thenI could ever work with colors XD

Thank you for all the compliments. I'm still drawing by hand because I consider that to be true art. Digital is still art of course, but translation from mind to paper with mistakes and erasing makes you grow as an artist. Digital programs fix mistakes in lighting, anatomy, texture and so on...decreasing the challenge to create it on your own. I respect all forms of art, but feel the most satisfied when I create it on my own. Except for some gradient backgrounds it's all by hand for me. Thanks for taking the time to comment on work from long ago
