Description
This is the Pokémon that in my opinion either need Mega Evolutions or are likely to get them due to being fan favourite. Obviously I am only one person, so the fan favorites are a guess based on various Youtube videos etc. The fan choices are in purple boxes, the Pokémon that need Megas are in grey.Related content

Couldn't agree more on Meinshao because it is one of those pokemon that is almost at the competitive level but needs an extra boost. However, I feel like either Beartic or Lilligant should be swapped out for Zoroark. Probably Beartic because it's already so bad competitively that it couldn't be made much better by a mega. It also wouldn't be likely to get a new type because the only type addition that would seemingly fit is normal, and that would just make it extra weak to fighting. Also I feel like if Liligant were to get a mega, Whimsicott would have to as well (although that didn't apply to Beedrill and Butterfree).

I guess my want for a Mega Lilligant came from drawings of it as a dancer, which could probably happen more effectively now with a regional variant. Beartic isn't too bad from what I've seen, it managed to sweep my entire team one time with Swift Swim; at least for Beartic a mega could gain some tiers on it, like with Abomasnow. Finally Zoroark: I dont see how you can really improve its design, every mega Zoroark I see looks far to overdesigned, except this one which looks more like a form change.

Yeah I get where you're coming from on the design issue for Zoroark, but it desperately needs to be taken out of PU or whatever low tier it resides in currently. Also they need to give it another type because pure dark is a nightmare competitively.
With respect to Lilligant, I do think an Alola form could be cool, such as this one:
