I don't know why, but the words "blind date" come to mind when I see this. Some kind of supressed memory I'm sure LOL

Hmmm.........being consumed by a great wall of death and then pulled into the underworld........sounds like a blind date gone bad to me!! or maybe a date where you wish you had been blind - or wish you hadn't been so blind....it's endless!!

You sir, are an expert in your particular genre (the only one, I think). Those could be turned into some very amazing pillars. How did you get the texture? reminds me of elephant skin.

Your Memory, as always, is likened to an elephant's, you are correct. And I prefer to create art in a genre where noone else is. I am an expert in a community of one. I shall advise myself on something later today to prove my point. Yay, Go me.

Thanks heaps and gobs, by the way For the , I mean. And the observations. And the Latte.

Offended!?
I find the greatest stuff at old resale shops and yard sales of old people!
Take this as a compliment at its highest regard:
It reminds me of an antique'd heirloom of some sort and it's awesomely unique; something you'd find for sale in an antique store because only 154 pairs were made because the little village in Micronesia that made these by hand was mysteriously wiped out by an unknown epidemic not starting with an E and ending with an A.

AAAaaaahhhhh, Ooooohhhh, NOW I get it. Sorry, in Cali, garage sales are basically crap. Crap people are too lazy to take to the dump. Thankyou my dear, I knew you didn't mean any ill will. Cultural differences, I suppose . Thanks for the , the fabulo BDay note, and your time, I know you're busy as of late. And I'd check out that epidemic, sounds like the "U.S. World Police" at work again with "Operation Micronesian Freedom". Freeing those Godforsaken foreigners from their livelihood and lives. God Bless US.

Yeah, I think the only time you should your used items is if they don't have sentimental value.
Because, then their just crap to everyone else. So, I sell Perigrinn White's baby crib (I'm a descendent of the first caucasian baby born in North America!!) and a couple tape of 3 year birthday date, yah?
But seriously, I'm a sucker for anything French Renaissance and from the middle ages. We actually have a reeeeaaaaaaallly old chair that I call the Electrocutioner because it looks like an electric chair, I found it at an auction and the dealer said it was from the Dark ages, believe it or not. It has a Gothic-y build to it: studs and elaborate carvings everywhere and the wood's either solid oak or really old mahogany. I'm still not quite sure, it it makes our family room look a helluva lot cooler, especially with the suspended Dutch beams going across the cieling and our 100 year old iron fireplace. you just have to look at the stuff no one else will and try to see its possibilities. That's almost an analogy to life.
