I apologize for the lack of a witty title, I was in too much of a hurry to post this to think of one.I got to see this movie today and I was really excited about it. As expected it was beautifully done and the characters were so awesome. I wasn't too crazy about the songs but maybe they'll grow on me.
Anyway, I thought Emily (the corpse bride) was gorgeous and I drew this as soon as I got home.Aside from the face and her left hand, it was all freehand with micron pens. You know how sometimes when you're in a slump and then you just whip out a drawing that just comes together exactly as you envision it the first time around? This was one of those type of drawings.

I totally forgot about that scene!!!! I never really understood what was happening in the movie because I watched it all the time when I was like five, but now whenI watch it it makes me extreamely sad D:

was this from a concept or movie? cuz her face isnt that sunken in the movie, theres more meat on her.
still good picture either way, just not true to the real thing if ur going from the movie.

No worries, i'm not offended haha. The corpse bride artwork I have posted is based on the two short trailers i had seen long before the movies came out. I ought to do some newer work inspired by it, now that i've seen the movie many times!

Aw thanks so much! Yeah mostly, I had looked online for pics to use as references but I could only find a handful of dark screencaps. I'm thinking of doing another drawing of her as well, seeings how so many people like this one. Just as shame I don't get so many views on my other pieces. Heh
