The 3D effect you've got going on complete with the shadows is just astonishing.

i started using a new program called mandelbulb3D. previously i only used UltraFractal, in which i could only do psuedo-3D stuff, or relief-type effects, but MB3D is true 3D. i have little idea what i'm doing with it so far, but the results are pretty neat.
