Last one of the day, promise! Another done for animu boston~The love is still strong for this one, if only because I miss printmaking. Okay, put this in traditional because that was what took the longest and most thinky to work out; a joint effort between myself and Jessie :3
She did the awesome string print scroll BG and I did the phoenix stencil print (mmm, paint thinner) plus Sai. Mmmm, Sai. Of course the one person cosplaying him vanished when I got a break to hunt people down for photos D:

It's so much fun to do, and as fun and versatile digital drawings let you be, it's great to get back to your roots and just get all messy and really work with your hands. Give it a whirl, whether you have a drawing or a photograph or anything really, if you have other artist friends you can pass them along with a "here, do whatever you want to this" and see what you and the others can come up with to do on them!

I KNOW! What a way to die -either poisoned by an overdose ink (or something in the ink) by surviving the actual ink beast attack OR torn apart during the fight
LOL, imagine the obituary:
"-Orochimaru/Kabuto/Ebisu-sensei/other randomly inserted name- was known as a very caring and sensitive Konoha citizen with a very big heart and a liking for chocolate chip cookies and milk. He respected all living beings and loved animals -ESPECIALLY snakes. AHAHA, gotcha! Okay, short version of the real story: He planned to destroy Konoha, got a little too arrogant and rude towards Naruto while Sai was there. Bad idea. The bastard was torn apart by Sai's giant ink beasts. Serves him right! Chaaa/Hell yeah!" (Written for the school newspaper by Moegi -Sakura's No.1 fan

Sai's really the only reason I read any of Naruto, he's just too damn awesome and you captured that wonderfully here. I'm in total awe, I especially love the way the phoenix is coming out of his paper roll. Very, VERY awesome. ^^
