thanks for the feedback...i always like hearing how i can improve.  what do you think is out of proportion?  i probably have been staring at this for so long that i can't see where things look wrong.  

i don't typically draw the skeleton underneath, and i keep getting the nagging feeling that the legs are too long.  maybe i should actually draw the skeleton to see if it make sense.

oops. i should point out in my scaled version, i rescaled the lower body AND the tatoo'd arm to be in the correct alignment with the thigh. you may also want to slightly scale the head but i was on the fence on that part.

btw.. you should draw the skeleton! i know everyone says that but it really does help once you get use to it.

redraw based around the rough of how the body is supposed to be. i think it looks a bit better but let me know if it still looks out of wack.

that, you can get away with. personally i would go a bit shorter, but now we enter into stylistic choice i think so i would say if you feel good about it then you're golden.

i can't wait to see this finished

Yeah, I think intend to go long on the legs in general. Probably my subconscious trying to make up for being short in real life

I'll probably tinker with the other upload a bit more ...let's see if I'll be able to finish this one off in a timely fashion.

i hate making posts like these because you never know how the artist will take it. so thanks for being receptive.

first of all, again, your work is brilliant and i love your personal style. so, this is not a knock at all -- just an observation. when i draw, stylistically i tend to do longer legs myself. but i find that everything tends to be in scale to eachother body wise. and that's what i look for when i look at someone's work -- they can have exaggerated limbs but as long as they follow their own scale in their own drawings it totally works. in this case, you did a lot of work in the head, chest and arm which commits you to a certain scale and when i look at it, that's where i see the issue (i'm explaining just so you know i'm taking your style into account). 

so, yes, the waist down looks like it will be fantastic. the cloth work is great but it's out of scale to the rest of what you've detailed out already. i mocked it up to illustrate what i mean... feel free to disagree or not though. this is just what i see.

i just painted them on.  i've never been able to do good tattoos so it just ends up as a bunch of random designs.
