Description
You know those doodles that start our as something you sort of like and end up as something you're quite proud of?This is one of those times.
This is a 50/50 mixture of digital and traditional. My uncle came by and gave me some old oil pastels he found lying around in his house and I decided to draw an iguana for some reason. The colors are all oil pastel, and all the shapes were digitally added after it was scanned.

I was floored by this.....my Best Friend is named Izzy,a 13 year old female iguana. We've been together since shortly after she hatched-she's my sweetie! Anyway,I'm disabled and poor as dirt but I'd love to be able to put this masterpiece on my profiles in various places along with her photos. May I please do so?

Its a fantastic drawing, it is something in it that makes it not only LOOKING like a lizard, it FEELS like one. I can imagine how it would move, sound... I like it really much.

My friend gave me a big box of oil pastels and I've been itching to try them but didn't really have time to do anything proper because of the thesis. So looking forward to playing around with them. Another perk of being an artist - everyone gives you art supplies they accumulate.

Thank you! Yeah I totally agree- my relatives will give me anything from extra paper to pens they don't use anymore. It's quite useful because it saves having to buy too many supplies unless you're looking for something very specific.
