This one took longer to draw than the previous one
. It's a portrait of the actress Natalie Portman, (in my opinion, one of the best actress there are at the moment! 
) drawn in a black paper with white pastel and pencil.I had some problems with the hair, as you can see the final result sux.. after trying to do it 5 times, this is the best hair I got so don't think about the previous attempts XD..
The hand isn't done like I'd want to, but I can't do anything better

I've fixed the nose shading, it was the main thing I should fix!
I've also fixed the background highlight+hair, the eyes and some other minor things... I really don't like the result on the eyes now

I don't know her, but it looks like a fine portrait. Great job with the white on black. You are too hard on yourself. ALL of our work needs improvement...that's a given. Every piece we do is just a snapshot of where we are at in our development. You can do hands and hair, and as soon as you get good at them you will find something else that needs improvement.

hehe yeah, I need to improve a lot. Every time I finish a drawing I only see mistakes on it, but when I forget most of them then I start to like it

This is fantastic...at first I wondered how you got that effect, then read the white on black paper...so that's what you can do with that..hmmmm. (been contemplating trying that out sometime) But this is one of the best portraits of her I have ever seen. Been in love with her since I saw "Beautiful Girls" and she just gets better and better over time. Instant fav, I have to add you to the watch list, cause I want to see more and more of your work. Great job!!!

Well it certainly inspired me to try one like it. Ok so mine is of James Hetfield...but it's the black paper and white charcoal I'm trying..
