Description A late birthday present for my mother.

My passion for it started high, but declined horribly as I feel like I lost control of the coloring and original vision. I'm not satisfied at all with how it came out, but fuck it. I'm just glad to be done with it. I really don't want to look at it anymore.

There are probably a fuckton of mistakes and shit here, but I stopped really caring about this piece a long time ago.

Bluh.

You make me feel bad for liking this picture so much now. There's so much care and warmth in the "monster's" embrace and equal sadness in her gaze. The child being a modern era teen is all the more intriguing, and I have to wonder if he knows what's happened yet.

Still, it's great to see her take what must be a strange critter under her care and keep him dry under the outcropping. I love colors for the sky and the whole tone of the background. I'm thinking of a late afternoon thunderstorm when the sun can still peek in despite the downpour. I'm also impressed by the level of detail, and I'm glad you shared it with us despite your feelings on it.
