Description Modern times...

Sometimes these times are too fast for me. Everything changes in horrible speed...
Somehow this picture popped into my mind, because I lately learned about those square codes. They look like abstract art and yet... they are codes...
So I had the idea of creating such a code for Cronachan.

Well... again my comic style and my humble attempt at creating a matrix-like feel with sinigh...
I changed Cronachan's jewellery a bit...

He wears that gear way too well - it's awesome.

I hope you will permit one tiny little nitpick - the rest of the pic is fantastic, but there was one tiny detail I noted; his necklace, the line of his neck seems to dip in a bit there, making it look like the necklace is digging in a lot, and it doesn't look like a heavy enough necklace for that to have been intended. I would think the cord would protrude out and be a bump against his hair instead of a dip.
I could be wrong, of course, but it does stand out against that white hair, so I felt I had to point it out. (At first I thought the necklace cord was some sort of scar because of it.)

I love this one! ( I can't believe I missed this.) The concept is wonderful. I feel with you. Times are changing so fast it's hard to keep up. I have found those code on nearly everything lately.

You carried out the concept very well. It does have a matrix-like feel to it but I think part of that is because he glows. O_O It's awesome and wonderful. I think that this is one of my favorite one of your pieces and I would fave it over and over again if I could. Thanks for sharing it!

Your words are making me feeling understood... I am over 40 years old, I didn't grow up with a computer or mobile phones, not mentioning the internet... Sometimes I just feel like I can't keep up though I work with the computer on a daily basis nowadays....

I'm not quite 30 yet and I feel like there is so much going on with technology that I don't understand. I didn't have a computer until I went to college, though I did learn how to work with them before that. I keep the basic mobile phone and soon I will have to upgrade that one because the company is making us do so.

You're not the only one out there who feels slightly overwhelmed by all the technology out there. It's scary how much it covers sometimes. However, I like the ability to meet new people like yourself that I wouldn't have had the chance to otherwise.

I must admit that I like technical gadgets etc... but it is THE PACE I cannot keep up to. And that people seem to forget to speak in whole sentences, that it is POSSIBLE to write coherently etc... Manners are all but forgotten...
People have to talk EVERYWHERE!
No place where you can not hear a mobile phone ringing...

Well. We will have to get used to it it seems...

I agree. I set my own pace...most of the time.

I do not like the human disconnectedness that is happening. People are forgetting the basics of communication and many are finding face-to-face discussions difficult. Body language is key to figuring out how people truly feel. A funny one is watching someone shrug their shoulders when they say something. No matter what is said, it means that they don't know what is going on. It's funny when they say things like "I love my job" or "I love your mother".

Silence is golden. I cherish it as much as money or gold.

I have gotten used to some people doing it but that doesn't mean that I have to or that I have to like it.

The script is made from a font I designed myself. I work with photoshop CS2. The text I wrote vertical and copied the layer several times. On each layer I changed the grouping of the lines, the size, added motion blur and lowered the opacity. The layer effect outer glow came in handy and some extra glow on single letters...

Totally agree with that, dear... Cronachan is for you, like Varaxe is for me, I guess.
I have spent years playing Rpg's, I have a lot of characters but he... He is special. He's more than only one character. Is an extension of my imagination.
And yes, they must live with that and accept whatever we want for them.
