For some reason it reminds me elves of Dark Sun, although it's nothing similar.

Or maybe her pose, because DS elves are good runners and she looks like she would run any moment!
As a remark, I haven't forgot our beloved black-skinned 'fool', but have been busy this weekend. Started to write answer yesterday on the bus home, but because power outlets didn't work on that bus and laptops battery dies quickly, I didn't got much done.
It will take more time, this is long post because both you and `Mithgariel wrote quite thoughtful answers and I got to get it right for me.
And we started working on our next LARP story and it needs little forum roleplaying in advance, so now I have another char to think about, raven Goldeneye (Mordaunt), to be exact. Unfortunately it's in Estonian, so you're not able to read it

I know he's no fool, it's more like a affectionate pet-name for him (although I think he would strongly disagree)
Oh I know how it is with reading. Spent almost whole day today at `Mithgariel 's, reading "Harry Potter and Hald-Blood Prince" in Estonian, because I felt I needed my mind to have that moment of rest from everything else.
And we will have fun, oh yes One char looks like Liam Neeson with long hair and beard and has violet-coloured eyes and two pairs of wings, one black, one white. I would call that fun, even though he will lose his wings very soon. But oh well, more reason for my character to act epic
I still haven't gotten through all your gallery, because my computer's memory keeps dying and I can click only through some pics at a time. So, there might be more

I think I know what you mean. You definetely mean not *fool* in a bad way! ^.^
Me, I'm not into Harry Potter at all, but the most important thing is YOU enjoyed it. Have fun on the weekend, good luck with selling and gaming!!! See you!

*thinks . o O (sweet, lovely and vulnerable... perfect fool )
Nevermind, I'm so tired right now I write nonsense. But witch definitely remembers that part of Cronachan that is those three things (excluding fool) and tries to get him to show that side of his.
I'm not a Potter fan, but three or four first books were very easily readable and nice and pleasant entertainment. After that it got more darker, but still nice reading. But of course, I read a lot, very fast and all different kinds of things, so...
Weekend was much fun, although I had to sit at the selling tent most of the time, but still got to know one nice brazilian guy, who makes silver jewellery and some absolutely fantastic Polish musicians and fighters (they are convinced me and `Mithgariel are their fangirls, because we sat close to the stage, clapped our hands loudly as we could and howled like wolves. `Mithgariel also took some nice photos of them, I hope she will put those up.
And of course, there was Wolgemut, who played fantastic music in the evening and we got to dance.
On the bad side, it rained a few times and kept threatening to do it even more, and in Friday evening it was absolute downpour for half of the night, never seen anything bad as that and it was very damp and so also very cold at night.
Now, I'm off to enjoy luxuries of the civilisation, bath and pizza to be exact. And maybe some Coca-Cola

Wow, I feel flattered that ou think Cronachan a three-dimensional character. Usually I try to make my characters multi-layered, deep or rich... however it is named in english. That makes more real persons, makes the characters more realistic, in my opinion.
In my parties almost all characters have debth, strange believes or odd behavior. Not all explain why they do what they do... it makes RP interesting. Like real people my characters don't change on a whim. Cronachan lives on the surface for not even a year and he still thinks of the helmorui (and himself) as a superior race. That is almost imprinted in the genes of the helmorui. He changed a LOT in that time though.
It is wonderful that you (the witch) seem to see the greater picture. You see the positive parts and emphasize them. That is the reason why Cronachan likes the witch.
Good night, sleep well and relax.

The way I perceive my characters have evolved a lot over the years, with getting older and therefore gaining more experience (damit, it sounds like a rpg thing, but it's not, really) and wisdom'n'stuff. I can't exactly remember how I started, I mean with ideas about chars and such, but right now I'm trying to get into characters by thinking how they feel, what experience they have had and how it changed them. I think in D&D PHB there was this paragraph about how to give your characters depth and background. I do something like that, but not consciously. Of course, sometimes chars don't like what I do and evolve in their own way (like my last LARP char's idea started out as a good-hearted empath, in first game she was chaotic neutral opportunistic thief who struggled with her good side and I fear she might end up full-fledged psychopath, killing people without mercy and maybe even just for the fun of it
I might change my character's ways in a whim, but then they have some reason for that (and well, CN characters sometimes do thing just because they can ). Like my Fading Suns noble, who swore from heart to keep secret of another noble from minor House, just because he liked the old man and thought he deserved it. And yet on the other things she was quite different, for example working for Imperial Eye just because it suited her (she definitely wasn't loyal to emperor). I could say she was one of my most complex characters, but not because she started out like one, but that she had time to evolve to that naturally. Thankfully FS doesn't have alignments, because now that I think of that, having it becomes hindering in some cases.
Mwhehehe, I got to kick him somehow on that 'superior race' thing. Don't know yet, how...
Of course I can see the change and I can see the unchanged part very well. But witch sees the difference in him, just like `Mithgariel 's rock dryad (can't remember her exact name) and relies on that. The way witch's character came out, she's much more knowledgeable and tougher than one might think, she just chooses to take her own path. I might say she's like a sea, with tides taking the shape of the cracks in the rock and waves flowing over its surface, seemingly doing nothing, but at the same time gently eroding the same rock away, making it by her liking.

I like how you speak of the witch as the sea. A very befitting picture!
I have the feeling, that we both see our characters similar and play them accordingly. I delve into the character and try to play him/her like I created them...
Not much time, much work, see you!!!
