Description
The young woman Is the old woman,dead but not forgotten.
The old woman is holding on to her former self
as she accepts the inevitable end with pride
and resignation.
She could let go of who she was,
and struggle to tread the water awhile in a fruitless effort
but she is peaceful and dignified, waiting to be swallowed
by the sea.

stunning work. awesome concept. water surface is so amazingly done. The old woman's face you have done a superb job in colour and shading, also her hair is so well done and how beautifully you manage to paint the flows under the surface. The overly bright sky works so well against the dark under water colours. The light reflections under the water has the deathly appearance that reflects so well on younger self. Beautifully done
