For a huge collab piece with LotusLostInParis .
For those of you unfamiliar with the subject she is a character from a popular children's fantasy novel series called Warriors, about groups of feral cats. It sounds dumb at first be they can be good and have some great characters, like this one.
As for the design, I decided to use two major pieces of inspiration. The depiction of Bluestar on the Bluestar's Prophecy cover and the Russian blue cat breed. For the first, I actually based the face almost directly off of the one on the cover. The reason being that I always loved that cover and it was consistent with her descriptions, so that's how I envisioned her. As for the second thing, I only based her loosely on this breed because all the clan cats (with the potential exception of kittypets taken into Clans) are a mix of a bunch of random cats. It really annoys me when some people try to say any cat is one particular breed.
For fans of the franchise, I'll probably do more warrior cats character designs so you can leave your suggestions in the comments.
