These were little concept doodles I had with an all female circus. Very gothicky and macabre. The carousel had real horses that wear speared in the middle or stapled to the ground.

Here we have the tight-rope walker, the clown, the trapeze artist, and the mime (YES IT HAS A MIME, OKAY?)

The Tight-Rope Walker has a very fluttery personality, but she's actually blind and doesn't know she's on the tight rope. She just likes to do ballet and thinks she's doing it on a stage.

The clown has no face. Just a mask. AND BALLERINA FETISH SHOOOOES

The trapeze artist is a 12 year old girl who is kinda punk lolita. She constantly swings over spikes and barbs and dangerous materials. And she falls. A lot.

And the mime was a bad mime. So she had to have her mouth sewn shut with a steel muzzle. I DREW THIS BEFORE X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE, THANK YOU.

I thought the concept was pretty fun. A completely female and gothic circus. And then one day, this gentleman strolls into the grounds on the run and wants to join the circus...

Of course he and the Ring Master, A SUPER HOT CHICK WHO CONTROLS EVERYONE CAUSE SHE'S AWESOME, butt heads.

Oh yeah, and sometimes audience members die.
