OK, here's the deal; I got so annoyed over Kairi's new look in KH2 - She's pink! Gah! The first game got her through as purple, so why the pink make over? Both Sora and Riku kept their main colors when changing clothes, so why not Kairi? And what's the deal with the "easy undress" mini skirt (points at the zippers on the front of said skirt). Not practial! And so awfully stereotype. I don't like pink! And then, the keyblade she gets to use for a short moment of meak heroism on her side - IT HAD FLOWERS! And it was PINK! Could it BE more girly? Don't think so... So, I decided, after being motivated to do so by Weiila, to redesign her and that horribly stereotype girly-cute keyblade. My thought was to keep her colors from the first game and make the clothes more practical, in order to make her a little more cool AND tough. The blade was difficult, 'cause I made a couple of designs last night, all based on the key-chain attached to the original. I managed to find a good reference pic here on DA and started out only redoing it a little - changing the color, taking away the flowers, but wasn't satisfied. Finally, after a couple of not perfect designs I settled for this one. My main idea was to shape the key fittingly for the chain (a paupou fruit) and making it look like something Sora wouldn't be all too weird looking if weilding it himself. So, ta-daa! It's not the best I could've come up with I guess, but I got really tired around 2 in the morning and just felt like sleeping... And so, with a silent cheer for my new markers, this will have to do for now. Enjoy!
