I think your watercolor skills are really great already!
The colors are so nice and beautiful, and I love how you contrasted the red cape against the green background; it really helps to make the character pop out!Β

Not that experienced with watercolor? Cyrus, you're proving yourself wrong. You are very skilled at getting the small details and the shades, I couldn't have done the same. How you managed to get Hornet's head all white without water spots, I have no clue on. Really great work, sweetie

WOW!
The vibrancy of the colors, smoothness of the blending, clarity of the main focus--everything comes together so elegantly! I love how bold the red of Hornet's cloak is even among all those pastel and neon plants--it really goes to show that the character is something special! The little flecks here and there make for such a nice flourish, too, and the highlights on Hornet's needle make it really pop with a metallic tinge!

Wow, thank you truly! I have to say that I enjoyed experimenting with something new; I find that the cartoonish style of Hollow Knight works strangely well in partnership with the light, graceful appearance of watercolors

Not bad with the watercolors. I do love how the background colors blend out, it's very pretty XD and nicely done how you made the background pop with the plants from the blended colors. 
And of course good work on Hornet as well. ^^ Overall Lovely job. :3
