Well that's from 'New Phyrexia', one of the many worlds from the Magic: The Gathering Universe.
The Phyrexians are bio-mechanical lifeforms that literally corrupt and assimilate the "100% organical" lifeforms into new phyrexians. (something like the borg from star wars).

This process of transformation is called "phyresis", in wich part of your body transform into something metalic. The most common way to contract phyresis is by being infected by a glistening oil most phyrexians produce.

There are five different factions in phyrexia. The "Machine Orthodoxy" is my favorite. They're not "evil" they just believe that the Bio-machine forms is a way of perfection and so perfection shall be shared with all living things.
They use a kinda different way to convert people. They flay them, ripping all their skin and then apply some strange liquid metal that solidifies into a porcelain-like mettalic substance. This picture I made is of one angel "converted" by them.

Yeah that's just like that. The base concept is an angel for the machine orthodoxy.
I had in mind the idea of creating it as if it were a new creature card, so I came up with a fancy name and background to it. But still is another phyrexianized angel.

heh amazing work though "All Hail the Machine Orthodoxy" I still think its strange that the Phyrexians modernized/ upgraded into more or less intelligent beings that all more or less just want to live now adn do their own thing, not just kill everything anymore and ect ect. I mean its pretty interesting Karn wants to kick some ass and blow them all up after Venser sacrificed himself to save Karn but i am hoping Elesh will be spared cause Elesh is freaking awesome, badass, and beautiful plus she tried to help Kharn so she's one of the few good Phyrexians lol
but amazing card once again

Uhh no thats not even close to being correct and i have no idea where u got that when it was Aug/ Jiyxaug or however say his name that brainwashed Karn while the black one that led the Phyrexian invasion, wanted to keep the Planeswalkers delayed and keep Karn under their control. Hence all the cards with those two Phyrexians controlling Karn for instance. The green one, forget his name also been a while, just wanted control over the forests and everything in it. Norn just wanted to run her Machine Orthodoxy church and she even at one point helps the Planewsalkers

I liked all this "evolution" of the concept of phyrexia. Until this block I hated phyrexia, But only the original black oriented one led by Yawngmoth. This new one really amazed me.

and Oh yeah tottally, i didn't know much about it until i looked it up and strangely enough the Phyrexians basically combined with the original Mirrodin inhabits and formed a new species more or less. I already explained Norn but the rest of the Praetors are always fighting amongst each other for control and Geth, Lord of the Vault, keeps getting re created and he keeps messing around with the other praetors as the planeswalkers try to fight back against the Phyrexians and unite with Kharn. Aug.. Jix whatever his name is (Blue Praetor) is the veyr manipulative type, wanting full control but at the same time trying to not cause a fight he can't win. Vorinclex, is a giant beast that wanted to infest everyone in the forests and make them in his own immage. He was partially the reason Glissa got infested, he helped infest Glissa and then made Glissa his champion and warrior and after that he didn't really care anymore about anything, he was fine with having full control over the forest and having his own dominion over it. Sheoldred who was the original Praetor leading the Phyrexian invasion, is always fighting with Geth and wants to make everyone basically her mindless slaves and i dont know much about Urabask the rest Praetor

but yeah i originally hated Phyrexia and i still more or less do but i think some really good things can come out of the Phrexians like the white Phyrexians cause they aren't so bad
but yes Yawngmoth led the original invasion against Dominaria but was defeated by Urza and his combined allies. Yawngmoth's head general was Tbaso Tavoc and then Crovax. Tsbao failed to Urza or Kharn one of those and thus Yawngmoth had Tsabo fed to Crovax as punishment for her failure
but yeah its pretty interesting and cool and more like the Phyrexians now have control and for once haven't completed torn apart the world so they are trying to get use to living there and what not lol

Oh yeah I know about the other praetors and the Urza x Yawgmoth saga.
I'm actually much more focused on the lore of magic than the game itself. I like to read the stories and articles but I'm not a hardcore player. Actually I'm not even begin a casual player in the last months.

I hope Innistrad can make me feel the same gaming passion Alara gave me. And for some reason I feel it will.

Oh? nice thats really cool You could probably teach me more about the lore than i could lol. At my school its like the freaking cold war hahaha XD everyone is always constanetly trying to have better decks. IT's always like this big race to have the biggest best deck and it's almost like a bunch of guys shoving their dicks in each other's faces and trying to have the biggest dick and it gets really annoying and then i try to point out all of this to them and other stuff like this and they act like mindless trolls so ehh to hell with it, sometimes its just not worth it
but if u lived near me, that would be cool if we could casually game with each other
