Description
This is my main Inquisitor Elie Lavellan. He has quite the story behind him.

Elie was his clans first. His clans original keeper was his beloved Grandmother who believed that there was a chance that Elves and Humans could live as equals if they just understood each other. She taught him that if Elgar'nan exists then the Maker exists, for whoever created the world is the same, no matter the name.

Elie's Grandmother was killed in an attack by bandits when he was 13.

Elie's mother spoiled his older brother Largan and his father was dismayed by Elie's gentle nature.

Two years ago Elie was taken captive by a group of human bandits, he was abused and violated, hence the scars on his face. He allowed his capture so that the hunters with him could escape and warn the clan. He managed to escape at night after a week and locate his clan who hailed him a hero. His brother who already treated him with disdain and was jealous of him being the first, begun to despise him.

A year ago Elie fell in love with the clans crafter Elgar, who was much older than him and very married to Mirim.

Elgar was Elie's first love but a few months before he became the Herald he and Elgar were gathering herbs when they went into a cave for a moment of intimacy. They were attacked by a Varterral and Elgar died as he protected Elie.

Elie was blamed by Mirim for Elgar's death and his brother accused him of murder.

Though Elie told Cassandra that he was spying for the Dalish. In fact he was attacked by his brother and several clan members who were close to Largan. He was almost killed but saved by a group of mages on their way to the conclave. The mages took him with them and healed him, that is why he was not in Dalish armour because he was striped and humiliated by his brother and his goons.

Elile is gentle, shy, quite, caring, compassionate and has an excellent sense of humour and sense of mischief. He doesn't like nor want to be inquisitor but does it because he wants to help and because he wants to bring Elves and humans together.

Elie was interested in both Solas and Cullen and flirted shamelessly with both, developing a loving relationship with both and he had sex with Iron Bull. But he was instantly entranced by Dorian but after Elgar he has been worried about giving him his heart, even though they have slept together and Elie is in love, he is so with nervousness.

His closest friend is Varric

Elie is very young, he had only just become an adult when the events of the conclave happened.
