You see this, this is what mom made me. That's what I'm taking away from this painting/sketch. I agree with kilsimiv, the backpack is very detailed giving it an appearence of the pack has something more than meets the eye.
Maybe he/she is a delivery bird or he/she keeps his/her most treasured stuff in it, or the pack holds tools for his/her job.
