I can totally see him sat there yelling at Harley to come see what her Puddin' was clever enough to catch XD
And let me just say - english notes have rarely been put to better use!

Stuffed, roasted and with gravy on the side, Pooh. The only way to eat Bat. Fire up that oven Harl, we've got a party to throw!!
I didn't take economics, but my Biology teacher always complained that my project notes were covered in bleed-through from marker-doodles of all things Joker-related and I believe my Latin tutor once received an essay where the last page was a risquΓ© drawing of Mistah J and his Harleykins in the afterglow of murdering one of the Bat-brats which was hard to explain, so I accused her of thieving it from my bag instead. She apologised, so I got away with it but I could never have done it without the teachings of The Joker ^^

Haha! XD
Oh, my calculus teacher would write notes (for example: "Yay! The doodles return!" on the first homework assignment I turned in) next to my drawings.
Really? Oh dear. I wouldn't have been able to get away with something like that at my school. Oh the questions that would earn me....

Well things are a touch more liberal where I am and I knew that that particular teacher was a bit of a Nervy Nelly so she wouldn't go up against anyone on something like that. Some people find that just admitting and apologisng is easier than fighting people on what's what and that's pretty much the main character trait they seem to go for in teachers over here which can be annoying. Some days you almost wish they'd tell you to pack up the doodles and the fanfiction and the Joker Plushie and pay-a-bloody-tention heheheheee ^V^
My mother hates my doodling - she's completely freaked out by Mistah J. She sat through the first ten or fifteen minutes of TDK and then decided he was too creepy and he'd give her nightmares XD

I think my teachers stopped asking me to stop drawing on my homework back in 3rd grade. I believe they recognized a hopeless mission when they saw one.
Really? That's tragic! She's missing out on so much!

I know, but she can't help it. She enjoys romantic comedy and happy endings. She doesn't appreciate the raw brutal sexiness of Mistah J in all his city-destroying glory - or the fact that Batsy's Numero Boringest Love Interest dies horribly. I tried to convince her by summarising the main plot points and she declared that never would she watch anything with a murdering drag-wearing clown in it. So although I fought my corner she could not be overcome... I feel I failed somewhat in that but some people just - don't - get - the - joke...

Oh gravy on a stick! I was so glad Rachel was offed! I really didn't like her. I was having a celebration party in my head when that happened...then I felt bad for getting excited she's dead...

Sinsy In reply to silveraaki [2009-08-24 12:21:08 +0000 UTC]
I didn't feel bad at all. In the first Batman film I was like 'Christ woman, will you hurry up and die already?!' There were so many great setups for her to die. And when they didn't even end up an item and she was still alive when the credits started rolling I got so frustrated I threw popcorn and cursed. When I saw TDK the first time and Mistah J offed her I was cheering him on... That wonderful, bad, bad man... *sighs dreamily* I was praying they wouldn't reach her in time, I really was... I was cautioned both times for being too vocal in my appreciation of the film and asked to calm down. I was also the only one in the theater who made an embarassingly stupid 'OMG TEH SEXINESS OF IT ALL' type statement when Mistah J first smiled for the camera after taking off that bothersome mask thingy. Everyone else - specially the girlies - were going 'Eeeeew!' or getting spooked and asking the others 'Are those SCARS?!' and I was practically gagging for it right there... Slightly embarassing, that.
But I can't make myself feel badly for hating her because she was just so annoying! Thank the Gods for Mistah J's incredibly awesome planning.

Oh, i started giggling when I first saw him standing on the corner. I recognized his posture. Is that sad? I believe I clapped when he took off the mask....yeah....

I was all 'That's Mistah J! It's Mistah J!' And when he took off his mask and said his line... *shudders* It was gorgeous...

I always felt that the whole 'lack of hygiene, scarred and psycho' thing was completely under-rated. I mean honestly, where the hell could the Joker go to have his teeth lightened?? In all seriousness. And when does a guy find time to wash his coat when he's constantly on the run/being beaten on by caped crusaders with a rodent fetish/masterminding brilliant schemes for the destruction of an entire city's morale and the liberating of copious amounts of money from people who've already had more than they could ever use? And let's be realistic - in most of the scenes of Gotham, it's either raining, has been raining, is generally a filthy kind of place, or we're just shown the Joker hanging out in really very filthy places. I just don't think it's fair to be mean about his appearance when we all know that even covered in muck and grime and running greasepaint, the man is still sex on legs. Dapper, pinstriped legs, even...

Sinsy In reply to silveraaki [2009-09-08 18:04:45 +0000 UTC]
That was one of the things I noticed most of all - Gotham is really dirty even though it rains a lot. I always wondered about that. And while I can't see Brucey looking good in runny makeup and with dirty wet hair, Joker pulls it off with a smile and a creepy story about his facial scarring. That, sir, take a MAN. A REAL man. Man man man man manly man whoohoohoohoohoohoohooooooooooo *whistles* And a man who can wear purple or drag with a hideous wig without me wanting to yell 'subtext!', even.

Man man man man manly manly man
Lolz! Even in a nurse's outfit XD
That was probably one of my favorite scenes in the movie. Especially when he skips down the steps and proceeds to pout and punch the buttons on his device like a little kid whose toy just broke. Truly endearing...

Sinsy In reply to silveraaki [2009-09-10 14:01:34 +0000 UTC]
Especially in the nurses outfit... Rawr!
The skipping bit was genius. When he pulls out the detonator and there's nothing happening and he's all 'What?' it's just like a little kid! 'Mummy, the hospital's not exploding! I pushed the button and it's not working!' hehehe XD SO cute. But I always wondered - after, when he commandeers one of the buses and Gordon's all 'One of the buses is missing! *makes astonished face*' You have to ask yourself, where the heck did clever ol' Mistah J put it when he was done with it? And the people inside?

silveraaki In reply to Sinsy [2009-09-10 17:51:31 +0000 UTC]
I know!! squeeee X3
Never thought of that...kinda hard to hide a bright yellow school bus, now isn't it? He dressed the patients up as his men, remember? But really....where do you hide something that blatantly conspicuous?
π: 0 β©: 1
Sinsy In reply to silveraaki [2009-09-10 19:15:36 +0000 UTC]
Nono, my thinking was: bus and people are hard to hide because they're so conspicuous - and he'd have to put them somewhere on the halfway point to make the transition for them to become his men - I was just always wondering how the heck he managed that one. Where can you put that kind of operation??

silveraaki In reply to Sinsy [2009-09-11 03:30:28 +0000 UTC]
Ahhhhhh...I see. That does seem equally challenging if not more so....and in a school bus? I find it hard enough to move around in one of those things, let alone change clothes with an unwilling hostage!

Sinsy In reply to silveraaki [2009-09-11 14:44:24 +0000 UTC]
