My last update on this channel was a month ago, so much optimism for a leap day, haha.

What happened right after, we had a shocking government overhaul, a pandemic, a great moment in history indeed. I can’t do much here, but to tell you to stay home and #flattenthecurve if possible, don’t hoard the tp, watch out for each other, and quash those who seek to make this a time for selfish gains over the lives of people. It’s been awhile since everybody had a common enemy at a single instance, no need to make more enemies, make comrades instead.

If you watch documentaries on past pandemics, you’ll understand that this isn’t something new. During the Black Plague in the Middle Ages and the 1918 flu pandemic during WW1, there were less methods for recovery, and viruses ravaged entire nations, leaving a trail of so much more death. I hope we can all get through this time to become a more united and mature people, and to never forget the lessons of this generation.

I salute you, doctors, nurses, frontliners and the people keeping everybody else’s lives functioning. We’re so lucky to still be able to buy groceries and meds. The security guards still patrolling the premises of housing areas, the gardeners keeping the plants outside watered. You guys are amazing!
