Description Alright, so, there's a story behind this one.

During one of our many late night watchings of Avatar: The Last Airbender, my sister was clever enough to remark to me that the two part finale to season 1 'Siege of the North' had a great deal in common with Star Wars. My first reaction was "What?" but then I got to thinking about it.

Consider if you will: A massive fleet of imperial ships, under the command of a crazy admiral bent on destroying a moon, is approaching the home of a small group of resistance fighters. The princess of this group is set to marry a jerk of a man by the name of 'Hahn'. People are capable of bending the elemental, lets call it force, of the world around them, and a young boy, the last of his kind of bender, shows up to improve his skills and decides to help their defensive effort. During the attack a wiser imperial officer warns the admiral that there may be a threat, but he is heedless of the warnings. Then, we discover that the moon is no moon, but rather a koi fish, and as the heedless admiral blots out that moon we have the above scene. Naturally though, our team of heroes returns and the empire is defeated and the admiral gets what's coming to him.

Watch it for yourselves. Buns, out.

Remember, this does not belong to me, but is rather the creative genius of Bryke and the good fellows at Nickelodeon.

Star Wars or at least episode 4 is based on "The Hero of a Thousand Faces" by Joseph Campbell and it wouldn't be surprising if the writers of Avatar are also familiar with this work.
