holy... its been so long since i uploaded anything oAoand its all because IHSS camp :T
so anyways, my dad came home with a big box but only 5% of it was filled with dry ice and i asked him if i could use it for my figurines and he agreed, just like that xD
i had 200+ images after the shoot OTL
so i sorted them out and picked out 19 LOL
i guess i will upload about 3 of them for now
i might upload some of these to tsuki-board, watch out for them
special thanks to my dad for the smoke, he brought home some dry ice to play xD

First things first, I really like the idea of the shot, with dark surroundings and smoke creates a really cool atmosphere, perfect for BRS. The pose is nice, with BRS facing side ways and her hair flows. However with her being... well... dark

I love how the right side is just all black, really completes that mystery epicness vibe you get from the shot. Really cool!
BTW, I have a question. How do you manage to take shots with a purely black, dark background? Something like the shot you have here. The figure is relatively well lit, but the background is just black; I'm kinda a sucker for those kinds of shots XD

just use a large piece of black construction paper and increase the contrast (or decrease the exposure), that's what i usually do :>
for this shot, i used my black cupboard and had someone hold an external flash, that's why BRS is well lit here :>
