Description
I started on this about two weeks before Christmas 2017. It's been a slow process but so far I'm liking the progress I've made. In this portrait I've not smudged as much and have instead blended pencil strokes more by just blending with pencil strokes. I've still got to finish the lip and chin as well as round and hollow out the cheek on his left side. His shadow on his left eye needs a little retouching. The hair will be the biggest struggle as there's a lot of dark strands and light strands, the left side of the cheek is covered in strands and requires a little more shading.
I've used pencils from 4H - 7B, both Staedtler and Faber-Castell graphite.

I know i have a habit of not finishing portraits but i am going to try and finish this.
