A bit late, but happy anniversary to my all-time favorite game, Yoshi's Island!

While thinking about what to draw for this anniversary, I was reminded of those wallpapers that I used to download from an old YI website back then. I've decided to use that for the anniversary by emulating the art style and creating my own wallpaper/background! I didn't want this to feel empty with just Yoshi and Baby Mario so I've added in the rest of the important YI characters as well!

Fr tho, Yoshi's Island was my childhood and what solidified me as a Yoshi fan lol it was also one of things that inspired me as an artist! Besides its good gameplay and awesome soundtrack, the art style is what appeals to me the most about this game! It honestly saddens me how the Yoshi series pretty much went downhill afterwards. While I like a few games such as Woolly World and Story, the rest is either boring, mediocre, or just straight up bad. I really wish that Nintendo cared enough about the Yoshi series so we can always get good Yoshi games.
