My submission for NATG XII, Day 12! "Draw a pony lost in space / Draw a pony from the far future." Here I wanted to take inspiration for the future design version of the Mane 6 we got in The Finale. Specifically how Dash restyled her mane, which normally falls forward, to go up and back, much like Spitfires, and be a bit shorter. It made me picture if a "Future Sig" design would have her mane fall forward, and perhaps grow it out a bit. I actually did a little rough sketch of it on paper ways back when I thought of the idea, and I thought it looked really cute. So, yeah, I decided to try digitise that sketch! I figured Sig should have some kind of accessory, since all the future designs had extra accessories. I couldn't really think of anything, but I like rainbows, and I like scarves, so ... rainbow scarf! xD Also, wow, those eye lines really make a difference, don't they? Like, it really ages the pony design ... it makes it feel so much more weirder for me, because I feel like I'm looking at a very old mare version of myself ... I still got so much life left to live! xD

And wanted to throw in some kind of background. Just supposed to be some hill in Ponyville or something. Mostly because I didn't want to have to actually draw a part of Ponyville as a background, and I know how to draw skies easily, so I did that 🙃 And I dunno, a vingette? I figured it fitted the "peering into the future" kinda' idea. Almost like a reverse photo? A photo from the future, haha! xD Otherwise a pretty simple flat shaded piece, but I still need pieces that don't take too much out on me at the moment. But regardless I'm still pretty happy with it!
