Description A surreal (if badly drawn) concept inspired by Magic the Gathering.

Here's a rundown of my concept. Very subject to change.

Verus Candor or Verocandor is an Elder Dragon who was gathering power in ages long past during the Dragon Wars. Nicol Bolas sought to destroy Verocandor and steal all that he had amassed, however, in some inexplicable way, Verocandor vanished. Though Nicol Bolas used every means he had to find him, Verocandor remained hidden. At first Nicol Bolas was furious, but then, centuries branching into millennia, he realized that Verus Candor would never return, even though he still sought for him at times by planeswalking, to be certain.

Verocandor is a pure master of white magic, not a mixture of mana, and so his white magic is unmatched even by the other dragons. He had the ability to rip the energies out of those he deemed impure, and their magic, no matter what color mana, was added to his own and became white. Or if they were repugnant enough to him he could unmake them by causing their power to destroy themselves from the inside out, wiping them completely out of existence.

There are no legends of Verocandor; nothing to show that he even existed. Bolas made sure of that.

On a plane (still trying to figure out which one or it might be a new one) a young man finds an ancient temple. Strangest thing about the temple is that it tended to flicker in the distance; everyone assuming it was a mirage or some trick to waylay weary travelers. The young man (working name Landis Callo) found that he could enter this place when he braved to go there. It became more solid and real as he walked up to it, which is the opposite of what others who had dared to go near it had said.

He found this temple to be a shrine which held an opalescent white dragon mask. He took the mask with no problem; no terrible traps, no horrible monsters, nothing. He hid the mask in his home until he worked up the nerve to put the mask on... and he found himself at the mercy of a power far beyond understanding. The mind of Verocandor touched his, and everything was made manifest.

I have more story, but don't want to reveal too much at once especially if I am to do more art for it.
