Description A puffin above an icelandic horse; a small painting made the last year.
I offered it to our beloved mentor and teacher in Icelandic who is now retired.

Also my brother got back from his little island some weeks ago.

Goodbye Iceland :/

A song we sang one day:
Á Sprengisandi (Ríðum, ríðum rekum yfir sandinn) [link]

You're right ^^
Actually I do not travel a lot outside my country. And I love the nordic countries, it was the first time I visited one of them!!!
Yes it was, but it would be better in summer I think

Thank you!!!

You're welcome!!

True, summer always is the better season during which to visit countries, especially northern ones. It promises more sunny days. And even if, you can never trust the weather. Last summer, the entire week I was in Poland to see my relatives, it rained all the time!

Oh what a pity Though I really would like to visit Polen, it seems beautiful. Where were you?
It reminds me when we went to Bayern in August (I was 7), it was always raining!
It's only when we stay in France that the sun is shining! x)

Poland is a really beautiful country I'm sure one day you will get to visit it.
Last time I've been to Poland I stayed for a few days in the capital of Warsaw, as well as in the old city of Gliwice. I visited Poland many times, though, and seen more of it than I've seen of my home-country of Italy!

I had heard that Krakow was more beautiful than Warsaw. Gliwice seems to be beautiful, too!
Ahhh so many place to visit!!

Oh yes, Krakow! Way more beautiful than Warsaw for certain... magical, even, with its legend of the Wawel dragon. It is an ancient city, and this is a similar case with Gliwice. Warsaw has more of a "modern" feel.

I agree. Though I did see a couple of countries -- Italy, Poland, England, Egypt, Lebanon... there is still so much to see. I'm curious about visiting Iceland, for example Scotland and Japan are at the top of my list of must-visit-countries.
