Do you know of any white equivalents to graphite that both erase and smudge the same? I know that white colouring pencil and gel pen can be used like what you used here, but they arnt very mistake friendly from my experience and have a bit of a different feel then the darker graphite. The best i could find is soapstone from the welding shop, it works well on gray toned paper like this but does not always show up to bright. I was just wondering if there was anything better.

Good question, I used to work at an art store and I tried just about every white pencil, haha. Β The only one I found which was actually erasable is the white Col-Erase coloured pencils by Prismacolour:
