Yeah... I guess you're probably right on the definition of doodles. I guess I just consider anything not cleaned and colored a "doodle."

Well if these are doodles to you, they are immaculate to the masses, I dear say.
I suppose my definition of doodles is the same as this piece, just without the darkened lines to define the final form.
I would personally label this one as a sketch, where the tidied up version would be line art I suppose.
To each their own I suppose, but still looking good... I need to do more sketches, like... just sketches, not full-on coloured art.
