It's not a rare disorder but it's a rarity in girls. You're a special person either way! Embrace your aspergers!

Yes <3 I don't think there would be a need for a cure if people helped others with Autism O_O

Exactly! The problem is people don't want to put in the effort. I actually went to a church once where they tried to "pray away autism".

O____O All the people I know with Autism / ANY disorder, are the nicest, most creative, and in many cases most intelligent people I know.

They shouldn't, but they do anyways. It's really sad. I know that my brother is extremely intelligent but people treat him as if he's below average intelligence.

This picture also reminds me of PMS.
Many people with Asperger's syndrome find peace and solace in drawing and craft, it is very therapeutic. This is from reading and my own personal experience.

I noticed this, my brother has an occupational therapist who comes and works with him through crafts and puzzels. It's very inspiring.

THANK YOU!!! FINALLY!! Someone who understands me! I have a high functioning autistic sister, and I get so mad when people start talking about a cure for autism! You're definitely right! We can't cure autism, but we can definitely embrace it!

Lovely rant there >3<
My brother actually grew out of his autism. Well, at least so much that he's got plenty of friends and does really well in school. He's still sometimes a little off, but he's definitely not retarded c:

my friend Tanner has asperger's syndrome, aswell : <
i myself, don't barely even see it as a disease. if anything, i think it's a gift. they can see everything that we can't, in a metaphorical sense. ya know?
my heart goes out to your brother, too.
i think i've already asked this, but have you ever read the book "the curious incident of the dog in the nightime"? you'd love it.
