Description It's been a while since I did not make a matte sci-fi scene and here is "The Terminal".
This one is fully inspired by a French artist I discovered in the following book in french (sorry...): [link]
It's Paul Chadeisson I should credit him for the composition and the brushes he kindly shared, check out his website: [link]
Have a look at his gallery, it's really good.

Nevertheless, everything has been fully made by myself, no like for like elements. I added many things, details and textures.

The sheer magnitude of what must be done to save the Earth and all of humanity and secure our position in the Universe... This concept art inspires a thought concept of design and an image of magnitude.  Its amazing how small yet significant human beings are and their imagination.  And what is possible through technology combined with the human brain.. We truly could secure an infinite existence within the universe, and here we are experiencing the possibility and initial thought of it first hand

I love the colours and the fact that much of the structure is in shadow, it gives great focus to the landing pad/dock.

Purée elle déchire cette image ! Vraiment excellentissime. Beau boulot de lumière et de détails. Le travail sur les différents plans (à droite notammet) est admirable. Cette image ressort nettement du reste de la galerie. C'est le haut du panier !
Au fait, tu connais sûrement John Harris. Il peint des visions assez similaires. Si tu connais pas, voilà un petit post de blog que j'avais fait à son sujet : [link]
