thanks for your comment i couldn't agree more with you about that black part, it was the one that bothered me most, and it just doesn't look like i think it should. if you look the original photo, it is pretty much similar, but still, doesn't look right. anyway, will try to fix it a bit.
mouth,lollipop and fingers were done with the pen tool only, used gradients and blur to get the effects, but face was done with the gradient mesh.

Very nice vector here. I especially like the lollipop, that's a difficult model! The lips are the only thing here that give me trouble and it's only the black part, it just doesn't quite look right when you see the full view. Other than that the lips look stunning, they really POP out at you. was this completely done with the pen tool?
All in all, great job!
