Alright, that particular concept has been sitting in my stuff like *forever*... well, not the picture itself, just the concept of an Inspector Gadget remake.

Finally got it out of my system.

The series/movie would be much less comic-centered, with a more serious tone.

The cast would remain the same, but with several differences. Penny is older, almost 18, but she's still a genius and carries around her "computer book", with also a slew of other helpful gadgets (no pun intended).

Brain is a regular dog whose intelligence has been enhanced artificially. He does *not* disguise himself, but is rather a "partner" to Gadget and Penny. He still doesn't talk, but he understand complicated concept and can communicate with barks and other "dog talk".

Gadget has been revamped, including a possible origin story. He's younger, and completely NOT oblivious to everything around him as in the cartoon. Instead, he's more like Cash in the "Tango and Cash" movie. He's a fairly high-level cop now affiliated with a special agency due to his powers.

I actually have a lot more details in mind, but I don't want to sell the punch. Just in case I decide to do something with the concept one day.

It's also one of my first attempts to create something more fancy via Paint.Net
