“I forgot what's it called,” Nishinoya mumbles as he ties the braclet around your wrist. You watch him silently as you sat down on the hard cement floor, your legs crossed. The boy upon you was struggling to tie the bracelet, and even though you offered your help, he shook his head and refused, and told you that it was his gift to you. Therefore, he was going to be the one to tie it. You weren't really sure why he was giving you a present, or what you did to receive a present, but you only kept quiet. “I think it was a promise bracelet or something. Friendship bracelet? Heh. I don't know.” He says, laughing a bit.

“Oh.” After a few knots here and there, Nishinoya finally finished tying the bracelet around your wrist. You brought it near to your face, turning it around to observe it. He must have been very proud of himself considering the smile on his face wouldn't go away. Then again, Nishinoya was always energetic and smiling all the time. You wondered where could you get such energy. “Did you make this?”

“Do you like it?!” Without giving you time to answer, he lifts up his right leg and rolls a small portion of his pants up. You could see the bracelet around his ankle (and a few bruises here and there), too—similar to yours. You arched an eyebrow, amused. “It took me such a long time to make these bracelets, but they're pretty fun to make, ya know? I made two. One for you, and one for me. I'm still making the rest for the team, but you're the first one to have them!” The only difference between your bracelet between yours and Nishinoya's was the colours. He had orange and black, whilst you had [favourite colour] and [second favourite colour]. You were surprised at how he remembered your favourite colour. It told you that he paid attention to you a lot.

“Thanks,” You say, looking at your own bracelet that was tied around your wrist again. It was pretty, you thought. Nishinoya must have definitely spent a lot on time making this one. You couldn't help but smile at the thought of him working all night at this bracelet just for you. This was the first time you've received a ‘friendship bracelet’ as Nishinoya had called it, and you vowed to yourself that you were going to cherish it. “They're pretty cool,” You then added. “Who taught you?”

“The internet!”

“The internet?”

“Yeah!”

You couldn't help but laugh at his response. Though, you weren't going to deny that you had expected that response from him. Of course, he'd learn it from the internet. You told yourself, still chuckling. Noya, too, was laughing along with you. The shorter male scoots himself closer to you as he grabs his bag. He then takes out a bunch of strings that you assumed was the materials for making the bracelet. “I can teach you if you'd like,” he says, holding the strings up. There were in various colours. Blue, black, red, pink, violet, and you could go on forever. It was like a rainbow of strings. “You'll learn them quick, because you're a fast learner, right? You're a smart person, [Name]!” He says, taking his other hand to slap your back. You wince, but the smile was still on your face.

“I don't know, Noya..” You said, unsure. “I'm not really good at arts and crafts.”

“That's why I'm here to teach you, silly!” He then shoves two strings at you. One was red, and the other black. You took it from his fingers, as he gets two strings of his own. He puts the others back in his bag. This was it. He was going to teach you how to make a bracelet. And you knew that it's going to end in disaster, simply because Noya was terrible at explaining things. Still, you listened to him. Even though you didn't quite understand him. “Alright, [Name]. So, the first thing you do is tie them into a knot and make this bunny ear thing. Got it? Okay, and—”

In the end, your bracelet didn't turn out so well.

But Nishinoya grinned at you and said, “That's a pretty good one, for a first try! You're amazing, [Name]! See? I told you could do it!”
