Description Colours are slightly off, as I had to use an online image editor
I was amazed at how my page views I got recently, which was more then my entire existence on dA. But then I looked at 's page views, and my mere 120 was nothing compared to the 500 she gets on a daily basis.
I asked why it was, and she said it was probably because there is a large animal community, so her work appeals to them.

I'm not about to change my drawings or anything, but it hope of getting more notice from you other artists out there, I give you "If I Were a Sparkle Dog"...

Yeah... so I know scene style dogs are pretty popular, I tried to give mine more of a lolita (Japanese fashion) feel to it though.

And for those who don't know what a sparkle dog is, I think this pic says it all. It's a stylised dog with a rainbow spewed on it and accessories. Yeah...

My sparkle dog is supposed to look like me, and is based on a Samoyed breed, which is a large white fluffy yeti. See here: [link] I absolutely love Samoyed, my late dog Sam was one. He was the sweetest dog you'd ever know. He only ever once bit me when he was a pup because I sat on him (I was only a kid myself). So now I'll forever remember him through the small dent on the side-front of my head.

I didn't realise it appeared that way :'D

She's a samoyed dog, which are uber fluffy, and she's only wearing a loosely tied corset. I wanted her to have more realistic proportions, but animals aren't my speciality.

Before even reading the Artists comments i thought it had a lolita feel to itxD I think sparkledogs are annoying as hell when used as almost a "scene dog" type of thing, but I enjoy the color combinations. Not really they way the artists describe them thoughxP

But this drawing is great haha. It has a more traditional, realistic feel to it than most other artists when the dogs don't look much like a real dog.

If I could write a review i would probably put five starts for a different feel to it than most other drawings under the Sparkly Animal category on this website

I normally dislike most sparkle dog designs due to bad color combinations or bad anatomy.But yours is so adorable for the most part it almost looks as if it could be real.I mean I can see people dressing their dogs up like that easy(wig and all XD.)

You also did incrediably well with the details,I could never draw lace like that!

Sparkle dogs honestly aren't my thing either... I just thought I'd do it to appeal to more people. But I actually had a lot of fun doing it anyway XD

I'd love to commish Ash to draw it, but like you, I'd wonder how it'd turn out since it's a bit... full-figured? I think she'd like the corset though When I saw she'd faved it, it made my morning.

I haven't seen many sparkle dogs, but I thought mine was pretty original too XD
