I've had this lil abused jester guy since i was like 7 and realized a year or two ago that design hadn't changed in my mind's eye so maybe i should look into redrawing him and figuring out what his story is

The original premise of his character was mostly just... what if the main character DIDN'T miraculously meet the right people? And instead of running away from his tormentors and finding nicer people, he only found people just as bad, if not worse?
It's a depressing premise but we'll see where his story goes now that i'm drawing him again
