I like it, most of the entries, including my own, is just an owls head. This is good for variation and i personaly like it more

I am really impressed with the quality and standard of all of the entries....some darn nice pixelart there. I think this may end up being a wonderful site for PixelArt challenges. Congrats to Lollige for getting it going with such a wonderful start!

I am spending hours working on dA clearing miscats and other things which must be done as a GD. I can spend hours doing that, so as you know much time is needed to create any major PA work, my time is spent trying to get the PA galleries sorted. I put in a minimum of about five hours a day up to about 12 hours sometimes if I feel up to it here so at the moment I don't have time to do my own work....soon hopefully!

that's why its good to see something from you. even with this huge time consuming activity of the Gallery management, you figured to make something. that's the good part of it.

Ooo, well, it looks lovely. Dithering was never my thing, but gradually, I seem to be using it more and more often... (shrugs).

In my opinion, i think maybe changing the owl color more to a light brown color, with that background, or a light/dark brown background with that owl.
But it's just my opinion.

How do you feel a dark outline would go....do you think that would help...It is a tribute drawing for an Aussie artist So i don't want to change it too much.
I finally found a link to it online and added it to my comments. I will try a darker outline around it and see how I like that...I agree with you...there is something missing.

OK I had a little play...added a darker outline and did a bit more dithering at the top. It seems to give him a little more depth without changing the bird.

Yes I saw that and changed the file....or so I thought. I edited it now I see it is the same animated file...grrrr what did I do wrong? I have a non animated version. I will try to edit it again!
